The two most dominate anglers from MN right now, Easton Fothergill & Noah Schultz, joined us for an intergalactic bassin' conversation. Easton Fothergill has had a crazy "Cinderella Story" season, winning Bassmaster College TOY with his partner Nick Dumke, and winning team events with his Dad, Gordon, during the summer. He then gets hit with a health scare that put everything into question, cleared just in time to win the bracket championship, punching his ticket to the Bassmaster Classic and all 9 Bassmaster Opens, touting a brand new truck & boat. Noah just won another boat, won his 2nd Blackfish Classic, and continues to dominate both Champions Tour and traditional tournament formats. Noah's from dirty southern MN, Easton's from the north country clean...let's put their heads together in a new dimension, and see where the Galaxy takes us.

Mississippi River hammers, Cory Hauk & Wyatt Stout, made the trip up for an intergalactic conversation. The track record these two have tournament fishing on the river is something special. Cory’s list is longer, but he never sent it to me; so as far as I’m concerned, he’s won 3 St. Jude’s in a row with his partner Brian Harmon, has had a run of sheer dominance on multiple river pools, and has proven himself regionally as well. Wyatt has wins in the MSBC Circuit, Bass World Sports, 3 Buzz’s Classic wins, a BFL co-angler win on Rayburn, 2 College Regional Championship wins on Carlyle and Kentucky Lake, been to 5 College National Championships, 2 state teams, numerous college top 5’s, the MNBN Team Trail win this year, a TBF win this year, and then a shit load of local club and city open type tournaments. On top of that, we had ourselves a damn good time. Enjoy!

Pat Schlapper is a Bassmaster Elite Series Pro hailing from the land of Wisconsin. If you didn’t know him prior to the Elite Series, you're probably not from the Midwest, because I don’t know if there’s a human being who’s had more dominance at the local/regional level (amassing an estimated 100-150 WINs) over his career. Pat Schlapper is one of few anglers to double qualify for the Bassmaster Elite Series. In 2020, he punched his ticket through Bass Nation with a championship win on Pickwick, and the Bassmaster Opens in the same season (the state of WI cried tears of joy when this happened). Now going on his 4th season on the Bassmaster Elite Series, Pat Schlapper is poised for success, and is knocking on the door of Elite Series stardom.

Was very honored to have MN/WI own Bob Downey over to the Bass Galaxy HQ. His story is truly something special, and he is one of the most relatable anglers I've ever talked to. This past season, Bob Downey punched yet another Bassmaster Classic qualification, and he's proven he belongs, and is here to stay on the Elite Series. When Bob Downey of Hudson, WI signed on to fish the 2019 Bassmaster Central Opens, he knew it would be a tall step up in competition. Downey claimed a check in all four Central Opens, and qualified for the 2020 Bassmaster Classic by winning the final event of the season at Grand Lake, OK. He also qualified for the Elite Series by finishing 5th in the 2019 AOY standings. This is his story.

For this episode, we have two key members of the Waseca Bass Mafia. In fact, we happen to have the old bull AND the young calf. Honored to have Sergeant Big Fish Tim Schroeder (Godfather of WB Mob), a wizard/master of the Jigworm, and Century Belt holder on Lake Minnetonka, who brings an intergalactic amount of tournament success. Tim has a unique story; being in law enforcement for 26 years, being a powerful force on the bass tournament trail, being a mentor and high school fishing coach are just a few highlights. One of his apprentices joins us as well, who just won a Classic Bass Champions tour event this past season on the Alexandria Chain (at only 19 years old), beating his high school fishing coach and mentor (Tim Schroeder took 2nd that event). If you don't know by now, I'm talking about the young Walker Krampitz (SkyWalker), who has proven his abilities as an angler against the best in the Midwest.
