Hailing from Sydney's Northern Beaches, Harpoon (Ryan Harper) has established himself as one of the rising stars to emerge out of Sydney's house music scene. In late 2018, Harpoon shifted gears with his music style and he has been reaping the benefits ever since. Blending warm house beats with pulsating bass lines and a dash of a pop vocals, Harpoon's music goes down like your favourite drink at sunset on a hot summer night.

2019 has seen Harpoon regularly feature in the ARIA Club Chart with his tunes picking up hundreds of thousand's of Spotify plays. With releases already on TMRW Music, Crookwell & Border line Records, Harpoon has just inked a deal with the illustrious Tinted Records; home to artists such as Odd Mob and Starley.

This week I am honoured to be joined by one of the first big female Dj influences in my life - Sveta! 

Hailing from Sydney’s fiercest and dearest club nights through to the underground parties that line New York City’s sub-cultures and beyond, DJ Sveta has been socking it to audiences fresh from behind the decks for almost two decades.Pioneering club nights such as Queer Central and  Sissy, this homegrown DJ and Producer is considered spinning royalty in her hometown of Sydney and has worked every veritable corner of the scene — both above ground and below — to master a sound that is quintessentially Sveta.

From her foray into music as a radio DJ on underground community radio station 2SER-FM and FBI, Sveta has kept one foot planted in the medium by working her magic across the 2Day-FM Mardi Gras radio broadcast live to 600,000 across Sydney and most recently as recently headliner and Music Director for the RDIO radio Australian Launch.

This multi-faceted talent has carved out an additional niche by framing some of the country’s largest fashion events with her signature style. Such events have included fashion shows for Chanel, Collette Dinnigan (Paris Fashion Week), Zimmermann, Arrabella Ramsey, Birthday Suit, Bonds and VOGUE as well as roles as her re-occurring role as Music Director for top Australian haute couture designer Alex Perry. Recently, Sveta was Music Director at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia for Oscar red carpet designer Johanna Johnson, Australian Project Runway winner Dylan Cooper, AJE & Bec & Bridge.

I am ecstatic to have her on the show!
