  • Patiently Impatient

(Video podcast available on Spotify & Youtube) Starting over, trusting the process, scarcity mindsets, gym routines, being humbled, deciding where to move, free clubs, and the art of patience.

Everyone loves the idea of a fresh start with new opportunities and the chance to reinvent themselves, but it also means rebuilding your life piece by piece. This week, Aleya is figuring this out after her move to Las Vegas. She realizes that her dream life still needs a lot of work...

She talks about the awkwardness of job hunting right now and the constant humbling that comes with relocating. But it's not all bad! One of the highlights of her new place is being able to stick to a gym routine, and she shares how that’s going. On top of that, Aleya spills some tips on getting into Vegas clubs for free! We wrap things up with everyone's favorite segment, "Tease Me", this week’s question is: how do couples decide where to move?

  • Do We Really Love the Toxic

(Video podcast available on Spotify & Youtube) Feeling like everyone is mad at you, hustling vs. chilling, Portland, sage in the bar, going off the grid, bidets, lap dances, and toxic relationships are the vibes this week.

After a trip to Portland, Aleya reflects on a number of things, such as "Why am I hung over on a Thursday?" How do you use a bidet, and what's the point of working if you can't enjoy the luxury of Netflix and chilling? While "traveling the world" (aka being two hours away from home), she and her friends take a U-turn straight to the strip club, which leads to her first doubles dance! She then reflects on why more couples don't do this. After many encounters with toxic relationships, insecurities, and jealousy in her own life or others', Aleya raises the hot take "Are toxic relationships affecting more than just the people in them? Maybe they're affecting society as a whole?" See you on the pod and let us know what you think!

  • Alone Time 101

(Video podcast available on Spotify & Youtube) Creative blues, self-help books, feeling lonely in your 20s, loving your alone time, getting tracked on Find My Friends, and how soon you should plan the first date are on the agenda this week!

Feeling lonely in your 20s can make you feel down, confused, and like you are doing something wrong. But is being alone really a bad thing, or are people just mean? This week, Aleya opens up about recent feelings of loneliness she's had, and how it was difficult to admit this to both herself and on the show, which led her straight to the self-help section of Barnes and Noble. She dives into why being alone has been portrayed as negative and shares a story about how she was called a "f***ing loser" for trying to go on solo dates. But as we talk more about this, we can see that being alone and spending time with yourself is actually really mf cool when you take the time to get to know yourself. As Aleya likes to put it, "Sometimes being alone is better than being surrounded by opps." She then shares different ways that you can get to know yourself. We then end this week with a Tease Me storytime and a question - "When should you plan the first date?" See you on the pod!
