There is a popular rule for making backups for your computer and other digital data called the 3-2-1 backup rule.
The 3-2-1 backup rule is a widely-recommended strategy for keeping your important data safe and secure. It involves having at least three copies of your data, stored on at least two different types of media, with at least one copy stored offsite. This ensures that you have multiple copies of your data in case one of them is lost, damaged, or otherwise becomes inaccessible.

One of the easiest and most convenient ways to backup your Android phone is to use Google Drive. Google Drive is a cloud storage service from Google that lets you backup and restore your data wirelessly. To use Google Drive for backups, you'll need to have a Google account and be connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Microsoft had an Ignite event in October of 2022 and had some big updates for OneDrive. They say that Microsoft OneDrive plans to make it easier to find your files, share and collaborate with your team, and always stay up to date. OneDrive is making it easier to find the file you work with at the office or at home. It's also making sharing experience within OneDrive consistent and familiar across all Microsoft 365 applications.

Enhanced sharing with permissions enables better collaboration with your team members or others. Microsoft has enabled meeting and people-based views that help you find content based on whom you're working with within the program. You can now browse OneDrive from within Microsoft Teams; Project Nucleus enables data availability, regardless of internet access or speed. All changes will automatically sync once the internet connection is re-established.

Hard drives are one of the most common storage devices used in computers. They store data on spinning disks inside a protective enclosure.

They come in two types: traditional magnetic disk drives (HDDs) and solid-state drives (SSDs). HDDs are slower and larger than SSDs, but they do cost less.

If you hear beeps when your computer starts up,  the cause may be your BIOS giving you a signal that something isn't working right. Diagnosing hardware issues are helped by finding out what the beep code is signaling. Knowing which BIOS is on your motherboard is something you should know before trouble strikes.

I have written about Canva and now have some big news to report. Canva recently held an online event where they announced significant changes and some more to come. Canva is calling its new platform design and offerings the Canva Visual Worksuite. These changes are the biggest ones made in the past ten years for Canva. In addition, Canva has said they are moving from a graphic design tool to an end-to-end visual suite of tools.
