In this month’s episode, we’ll be joined by our member Francesco Ronchi, CEO and founder of Synesthesia, an app development agency and innovation hub in Italy. Francesco will tell us all about how app makers have been fundamental in helping our society to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for more digital skills, and the future of the app economy. This month we’re talking all things AppCon. Yes, you read that right! There are a lot of things that are different about 2020, and AppCon is one of them. We’re still educating policymakers on important issues like TVWS, privacy, platforms, and more, but the way we’re doing it is 100% virtual. We’re sitting down with our executive director, Chelsea Thomas, to discuss our commitment to stand with the Black community by looking within ourselves, our neighborhoods, and our workplaces and examining our roles in perpetuating injustice. We will also be joined by Qyana Stewart of member company GlobalForce Tech Consulting to talk about her experience as a Black woman in tech and her newly launched non-profit for young women interested in computer science education and workforce development.
