Iberia Parish Council Chairperson Natalie Bernard Broussard and Councilman Joel Dugas reviewed the council meetings of 7/26/17. The two discussed a presentation from the Acadiana Planning Commission on a Regional Watershed Summit on August 3, 2017. They also discussed the purchase of a building to house the public works department and a new recycling program for the Parish.

Iberia Crime Stoppers is featured on the show each Thursday at 11:00. This week we were joined by Sgt. Stephen Guidry and Fran Henderson. Crime of the Week: A burglary at Daspit Supermarket. Four suspects shattered the sliding glass door and stole liquor, snack cakes and candy. All four suspects were covering their faces with different means. They fled the area in a white Chevy Caprice westbound on Dartez Dr.
