As if the current gasoline powered C8 Corvette isn't fast enough, Chevrolet has introduced the Corvette E-Ray for the 2024 model year, an all-wheel drive model that features BOTH  a powerful 6.2L LT2 V8 gasoline engine paired with an electric motor that adds 160 horsepower through the front wheels.  Combined this beast generates 655 horsepower!

The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration has recently ordered Tesla to recall approximately 2 million vehicles - pretty much every vehicle the automaker has manufactured in the last 20 years - for shortcomings in its much-touted Autopilot semi-autonomous driving system.

New regulations from the Federal Railroad Administration will require the railcar manufacturing industry to verify that the equipment they provide to the nation's freight railroads was not manufactured in a country that is hostile to US interests.  This action is supported by the Rail Security Alliance and Railway Supply Institute.  We explain why this is important.

According to a recent study, over 20 million Americans aged 55 and older have difficulties completing one or more basic daily activities.  This according to a recent study by the Schwartz Center for Policy Analysis at the New School for Social Research.   Of that number, 8.3 million people are NOT getting the help they need.

Finally, some activity with some teeth!  The EU has moved to regulate AI.  The regulators believe that their legislation will become the template for other countries that are looking at how AI should function in their own jurisdictions.  More importantly, the new laws has enforcement teeth equivalent to seven percent of a company's global revenue if they do not comply.
