'For our next series of Sonic Adventure we've embraced our dew doused shining Sunday Spirit Animal - The Sloth! Whilst some may see the Sloth as lazy or indifferent, we prefer to see this Happy Herbivore for what they really are - Hero's to all Avocados, Algae Farmers Extraordinaire, but most importantly as a symbol of Patience and Meditation! So cross your claws, as we prepare to travel the Astral Hanging Gardens of the Great Babylon within, with another Episode of the Slow Poke Sessions.'

This weeks Slow Poke Session 016 With Z

I figured out on my first rave (MOS) 2014 when Sheldon was behind the decks that i want to be a DJ. I started my journey through listening and practicing at home. DJ's like Nicolas Jaar, David August and Guy Gerber are my mentors whom i dearly follow. My music style is inclined towards experimental techno and progressive house.I don't wanna blabber about myself so i let my music do the talking.

Motivated and inspired from a young age, Filipe Dias (Leep) is currently one of the best and most passionate young djs on the South African music Horizon. He discovered the art of djing at the tender age of 10 and has been driven ever since.

He enjoys all types of music but his love lies in melodic, deep, desert, african house and techno. He goes about his work quietly without any fuss but when put behind the decks he definitely knows how to express himself and speak to the crowd through his music. His mature sense of selection and style leaves a huge impact on the crowd during and after his performance.

I would describe my sound story as something crafted from pure passion, appreciation for all music and overall uniqueness for style and selection. For me it’s all about doing it for the love of the music. From a young age I grew up listening to a lot of music, and fell in love with all kinds of genres. At the age of 10 I started messing around with djing apps which lead to playing at school socials and house parties. That’s where I found my passion for music and I made that my happy place, since then I haven’t looked back!

Techno for Breakfast bringing you variations of House and Techno made for the Mornings.

Oram was born in Sousse, Tunisia. His story with music began with his first breath and 18 years after he decided to take his first steps in the world of production and music .. Day after day him and techno music are becoming spiritually attached if we may say so .

<< Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere »

that’s how we can describe Oram as a DJ . Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy .

luçïd is a french artist based in Paris. He has a fascination to translate visuals through music: to hear colors and see sounds. Like a picture, it’s always about textures, light beams and shadows, a refraction of light.

The sun is going up or down, very late or very early: This is when luçïd loves to share DownTempo beats and SlowHouse tunes. lucïd’s obsession for telling stories through sounds and create narrative drops & kicks is always an exploration.
