Bio:

Mark Moss was raised outside of St. Louis and discovered electronic music through his Uncle who was getting all the new sounds out of Chicago and Detroit in the late ‘80’s. He began learning to DJ at the tender age of 12 with Acid House and the new rave sounds coming out of Belgium and the UK. During early 1991 Mark discovered what was then known as "breakbeat", which became hardcore and later Jungle. He immediately fell in love with hardcore and the emerging Jungle sounds. Mark's family moved to the Detroit area in 1992 and he began going to parties, noticing a lack of (and hatred of) Jungle in the Detroit scene. Mark then began his mission to aid Detroit in its Jungle deficit and began playing anywhere he could, from parties to houses to radio to retailers such as Urban Outfitters in Ann Arbor. In 1997 8en helped found Kinetics, (the original Detroit Jungle night and crew) and became a rotating resident/ face in the Detroit scene with hundreds of appearances at legendary venues such as the Motor Lounge, Alvin’s, the Blind Pig and the

Magic Stick.

Mark took a 6 year hiatus from Detroit; winning the Daytona Beach annual DJ contest and becoming runner-up in URB magazine’s first mixtape contest, then retired from Dj-ing in 2001. Upon moving back to the Detroit scene in Summer 2006, he began to sneak his way back in with an onslaught of old school hardcore and Jungle.

In 2009, he was the only D&B DJ

on the bill for the 3 Day Movement Festival, choosing to do an all vinyl, history of D&B set.

In 2010, he co-founded the Everyday Junglist Podcast, which started out showcasing local talent, but after over 250 episodes, the talent also featured regional

DJ's and D&B heavyweights from overseas. (no longer affiliated)

In 2012, 8en joined forces with Konkrete Jungle Detroit to bring a new level of quality and dedication to the Detroit D&B scene, which

featured a 3 hour, 4-person tag team set at the 2014 Movement Festival.

8en's style ranges from early Hardcore sets to the newest, upfront tunes coming out each week, as well as productions of his own. While he

focuses on the more Jungle aspects of D&B, you never know what style you will hear in one of his sets.

8en is known for quick mixes, a deep deep selection and a great knowledge on set building and flow.

Hi I'm Jeremy Ternovan im an Event Promoter and DJ from Windsor, Ontario. I spin hard 140bpm techno, ghetto tech,electro and other forms of Techno.

I dj under 2 names, as T-Rex I spin hard 140bpm textured techno, as J.T. I usually play opening sets that consist of detroit&chicago house mixed with melodic abstract techno. my mixing style differs depending on what I'm doing.

I get alot of my inspiration from Detroit as i started out listening to artists & labels like Keith Worthy, DetroitTechno Militia and others. My preferred format is mixing records on 2 turntables and a mixer.

Originally a classical vocalist and film student AZA quickly turned her focus into an electronic music obsession. AZA aka The SoundBeing is a Techno/House DJ and Producer : California bred , midwest transplant. Since debuting one year ago as a DJ/producer in Cincinnati, Ohio AZA has unleashed an undeniable energy behind the decks and onto the dance floor.

AZA's original compositions and choice track selections continue to rock dance floors that she has met with so far. Her first international release, “Seiglu” signed on S6A Music, of Catania, Italy dropped this June 2019 and continues to be an editors pick on Beatport via the deep house section. Recently "Seiglu" has been signed to two more labels which will be announced shortly. Expect more from AZA

Jitter is a metro Detroit based underground music duo comprised of Jon Auler & Hunter Waak. Working on productions and DJ'ing together since 2015, the two constantly work to improve and refine their craft. Their different yet complimentary styles have only helped to push one another as artists, and they are just getting started.

Don't expect an easy answer if you ask them to define their sound. "How would you define something that is ever changing? This music is ambiguous enough to not force an idea onto the listener so much as give them the freedom to feel how they want. About Tatem

A Detroit native currently living in San Diego, it all started in 1997 with a Boss DR660 that was purchased to replace a drummer who never showed up for practice and Tatem immediately found himself hooked on music technology. Around 2001-2003 he joined the Detroit techno group SCAN 7 as a remixer and live performance member. The ethos of the Detroit music scene was a powerful influence on Tatem. His first release was a collaborative track with Scan 7. His production skills catapulted by mentoring with “old school” and master beat makers from Detroit, including being a tech assistant to hometown techno hero, Kevin Saunderson. This opened doors for regular late night after-hours gigs and other larger events in town. In 2004, Tatem moved into the well known Russell Industrial center and opened Binary Detroit, a production and recording studio, and started an after-hours event called Saturday Sunday’s. Tatem’s skills sharpen more, and he won a remix competition that allowed him an opportunity to spend time with industrial guru, Trent Reznor. From 2006-2013, Tatem joined a successful band in Arizona as front man and lead guitarist/songwriter. But, in 2014, Tatem was back at it again producing techno and found himself in San Diego. His Detroit connections found him and soon was releasing tracks with Sub÷Divizion and immediately felt at “home”. Tatem is a dexterous and proficient DJ with his deep and moody cuts, and is not one to be missed.
