Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  They are being called Orbots…orbital robots being developed by New Hampshire based Rogue Space Systems.  And like the robotic vacuum which you may have in your home…these robots are designed to clean up.  The idea is to prevent space debris from tumbling back to earth according to CEO and Founder Jeromy Grimmett…and working with the University of Utah…they will employ Omnimagnets to grab objects..

“The complication is how do you de-orbit something…how do you grab ahold of something, that is moving and tilting and pivoting.”
