Techstination

Web developer turned pro photographer Patricia Davidson: Out of Oregon Conference interview.

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear.  I’m Fred Fishkin.  We’re fans of off grid fun technology…and the folks at Mpowerd have created solar powered string lights that are great for the patio or campsites.  The Luci String Solar Lights feature lights on an 18 foot cord that is expandable and can last up to 50 hours on a charge.  And they can provide emergency lighting at home.  Founder John Salzinger…

“You can string up 360 lumens across your entire apartment.  You can have ambiance while you’re riding out a hurricane, which we don’t expect you to do…but when you have to go home and you need light across a room..it also has a very strong flashlight on it.”

The 2000 milliamp hour battery can also be used to charge  up other devices in a pinch.  The price…about forty dollars…but look for discounts at www.Mpowerd.com.

You can find us at Techstination.com.  I’m Fred Fishkin.
