We also discuss proximity to whiteness like being lightskin or mixed and how it comes with advantages compared to being dark skin in the black community. Also, we talk about celebrities like Zendaya "representing" the whole black community in mainstream media& being the black beauty standard and how colorism comes into play where we see a lack of darkskin representation in books, tv shows, movies, etc. Futhermore, we cover what it's like to be a black woman and the pressure and racism we face + our opinions on the recent Oscar's regarding Will Smith/Chris Rock, black women and hair, and even toxic masculinity.
