Toxic people or toxic friendships/relationships literally drain you of happiness because you're constantly trying to prove to them that your good enough (when really you ARE good enough all along!) In this episode I dive into a certain toxic friendship I went threw and how I slowly am letting go! Letting go is super painful but just know you are not alone and though it hurts A TON- YOU WILL GET THREW THIS!

Ever complained to someone about something and they said "just think positively!" and you're like- "GEE THANKS!" Well I'm here to say exactly that BUT how to do that gradually because its very hard to just think in a positive way instantly! Wow, it's been a full year since I last recorded an episode on Teen Inspo! So much has happened since: I started working, I'm studying Psychology with Social Work, I've travelled to really cool places and more! Life is moving so fast. AND... I'm so excited to share with you so many insights I've learnt -and keep learning- from this past year that have immensely built my awareness and understanding of myself an others! So, open your mind and heart as I share my self awareness journey with you and START OVER!

I think we've all been in a group at one point or another feeling uncomfortable or fake. Maybe you have a lot of friends but still feel lonely. Maybe the friends you have disrespect you or make you feel like you have no value. As I've learned- and am still learning- STOP RUNNING AFTER PEOPLE WHO DON'T VALUE YOU! You're so freakin' valuable so why hang out with people who make you feel any less. Learn to go to the people who Value you for who you are- even if they aren't the "IN" crowd and ask yourself, "Would you rather be in the popular group and feel sad or be with authentic people and be happy?" Simple questions like these will change your perspective on life if your willing to open your mind!

Jealousy is probably the most uncomfortable emotion! It can tare a person apart and make them do stupid things they don't mean to do. Over time I've been able to really recognize jealousy as an insecurity and get to deal with the root of it head on. But remember! The steps I give will only work if you really embrace it and put in the work yourself! After all, no ones perfect.
Wow! Four years go by so fast! I think you only appreciate High School when your in your last week of it... There were so many great opportunities and lessons I learned that I want to share with those who are entering High School or are still in it! Just know, every experience, triumph and heartbreak molds you into the person you are. There are no regrets- JUST GROWTH.
When one is in an argument or has negative feelings toward another person, one tends to think, only, of what the other person did to hurt them. But sometimes flipping the situation around and seeing it from the other persons perspective can give you more clarity, forgiveness and peace of mind -as it has helped me many times before!

Sometimes when we look at the big picture it can get very overwhelming and bring on a lot fo unnecessary anxiety. I've found that putting stressful scenarios into small steps can make you feel more calm and focus on what you have to do now in the present, rather than worrying about the future.
Life has its ups and downs and sometimes it's hard getting out of a negatively emotional situation. In this episode I share the ways and tips that have really helped me and others deal with grief or let downs. I hope this will help you as well:)
Life can get very busy. Wether its busy in your head or with your schedule it can get very overwhelming and stressful. I'm fortunate to have a wonderful friend who gave me simple words of advice that changed my perspective and helped me to apply her advice into my daily life whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed.
