Raging teenagers have climbed onto the roof of a bus shelter and pegged eggs at people outside the Westfield shopping centre at Bondi Junction.

The incident happened earlier on Tuesday on the corner of Oxford and Grove Street as people were coming out of the train terminal. 

It is believed the assault didn't last long the egg throwers were chased off.
