Ezra and Jeremy dive into the topic of church leadership, challenging unhealthy practices, and how to deal with trauma. Jeremy coined the term “leadership gospel” for the benefit of pastors and theologians of generations to come. At the end of the episode, they share some resources on how to be Scripture-formed Christians and further readings on cults, heresies, false teachings, and church servanthood.
World conflicts make churches divided and that's fine! We have personal convictions. However, are they justifiable with the Scripture? Maybe. But are they Christlike? Maybe not. So, how then should we evaluate conflicts such as in Israel, Palestine, Afghanistan and various parts of the world. Join us as we discuss this with a political columnist and writer, C. Douglas Golden.
Jeremy & Ezra kick start this limited series with some “mental and spiritual first-aid for bad church victims”. Tune in to the first part of this episode to hear them share their own experiences with bad churches and look into some vital things to address before one searches for a new church.

Church pastors and elders are the go-to people when we have issues, an enquiry or in need of assistance. They are the people we seek for guidance and insights. Whether on the pulpit or behind-the-scenes, they often show smiles and would be the most encouraging (or to some, bold) people in the midst of hardship, chaos and suffering. However, statistics have proven that they are amongst the mentally-challenged individuals, whether in ministry or at home. What can we do for them as the Church? If you're a pastor/elder, what can you do about it? Ezra sits down with a church pastor and director of pastor care ministry, Ps. Scott Egbert to discuss mental health and church leadership.
The local Church today deals with the great decline of attendance, especially among the youth and young adults. It seems that the new generation hates the Church and we wonder why. For this episode, we're going a little personal with the issue regarding the local Church and her relation with the youth. Ezra brings his good friend and a core member of the Students Connect in HTBB, Sharon Maria Kuruvilla, on the podcast to dissect the issue and encouraging the Church to fight the stigma concerning the youth in the Church.
