Syihan shares his experiences as a political and community organizer and reflects on his involvement in movements for Palestine over the past year and beyond. They also discuss Muktamar Austin and share some of their experiences in planning the event, what they thought went well, and what they hope for for future Muktamars!

Happy (belated) Indo-pendence Day from Teh Talks! In this episode, our hosts Ihsan and Laiqa are joined by a friend of the show, Kautsar Rahmat! They discuss some of their experiences as Third Culture Kids - Indonesians who were born and/or raised in America - with the added layer of being Muslim. They'll talk about using and losing Indonesian language, "proving" themselves in both Muslim and Asian American spaces, and will share their advice on how they maintain connected to Indonesia despite the distance.

In this episode of Teh Talks, our producer Zahra takes a mic and joins our hosts Velycia and Hanan! The three of them will discuss their experiences with friendships as young adults, including: the difficulties that come with making friends outside of school, childhood friends, friendship breakups, and re-evaluating current friendships.

In our second part of our marriage series, Salsabila and Velycia each reflect on the first year of their individual marriages and discuss bringing their families together, combining different cultures, self-love, and also share their advice to those trying to find love!
