Since the technology has been developed prior to the pandemic crisis, there are already numerous major enterprise companies using their technology around the world.

  • Podcast: Andy Abramson says build the legend of you
When you say the word branding or brand, a word picture might appear in your mind of an iconic logo. The FedEx logo with the arrow or that famous, “when is absolutely, positively must be there…” slogan that went with the logo. Andy Abramson thinks that contemporary branding is different in at least two fundamental ways: it’s much more than an icon and a logo, and it’s much more personal. In this podcast, Abramson urges listeners to build what he calls “the legend of you”. Your online reputation, your in-person reputation, the way people see your work, and the way you reply to an email are now a part of a whole cluster of things that brands you, brands your business and/or brands your professional reputation. In an economy where we are socially distanced from bosses or customers, all of this has taken on a new urgency. Abramson walks us through what is imperative and explains how anyone can get started and needs to get started.

  • Podcast: Don’t wait for 5G
“Don’t wait for 5G.” That’s the big message in this podcast with Mark Bole, CEO of Quortus. As 5G advances as the new standard for mobility, it has occurred to many people in the channel partner community that 5G can potentially deliver a disruptive change to the entire way companies and organizations manage their internal communications of all kinds. That might be causing a big pause in the way channel partners are thinking about their long term and even intermediate futures. Bole outlines a significant opportunity available now in using Quortus products to develop private wireless networks to their customers, creating a needed service today that can migrate as 5G emerges. Bole talks at length about his offerings, some new developments and recent news of proactive investment in the company that will fuel the firm’s plan to grow its presence in the US and Canadian markets. The company has noted success in manufacturing, agriculture, among other verticals, notable since some of these industries have been looked over by the UC community. Bole urges action now, to make the most of 5G and avoid the company-killing “opportunity cost of time”.
