Telit Cinterion is leading in the IoT technology race. Security is king and security is built into every device. In addition to security, how does remote device management play into security?
Neil Bosworth
Neil Bosworth, Head of Vertical Segments & IoT Products at Telit Cinterion shares details with Don Witt of The Channel Daily News, a TR publication on remote management and how it relates to IoT Security.
A major concern of organizations is implementing security while using remote management in their IoT networks. Neil addresses these concerns as he provides some solutions for IoT devices that utilize remote management.
Neil also shares his thoughts on the trends and future of IoT security and Remote Management moving forward.
Listen in as Neil provides some great information on IoT security secure remote management with some solution examples.
Security is native to their hardware and designed into the industrialization process, which hardens their modules to cyberattacks. Their IoT modules are secured and personalized at the time of manufacture, enabling their IoT endpoints to leverage the security benefits.
Modules with certain chipsets feature encrypted ID, credentials and SIM functions embedded in the chip’s trusted zone. The Telit ID (TID), which is injected into the module at the point of manufacture, is immutable and cannot be moved from one module to another.
The TID is used for tracking and auditing modules across different systems. Its identity information is shared securely only through their IoT platform for device management.
