In a special COVID-delayed black history month episode, Alex and Dave examine whether or not we are currently living in the golden age of black entertainment. We jump in our time machine to go through and determine the strongest eras for black music, movies, and TV. Today, in part 1 of 2, we revisit the mid-late 70's, the mid-80's, and the late 80's into the early 90's.
Also in this episode we are joined by Dave's cousin Mica (a resident of London), who joins us to let us know everything we got spectacularly wrong during last week's Meghan v the Crown debate. We don't normally fact check on this show, but those British are just so damn charming!
