Welcome to another episode of Tell Me Another Lie!! In this episode Just Jae and Ryann talked about ways they get through falling into a rut. Just Jae talked about finding daily highlights and Ryann discussed her Start Your Day journal. From weighted blankets, half-assing at life, and her continued Boyz II Men campaign, they ended by talking about who was going to perform with Shakira and JLo at the HalfTime Show (the episode was recorded before the Super Bowl).

In this week’s topic, they discussed open relationships. Just Jae gave some insight while highlighting some of his friends’ experiences. From misconceptions to Ryann and Just Jae voiced their opinions on open relationships and whether they could ever consider being in one. In this epsiode, Just Jae and Ryann talked about the recent passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and the other passengers. They unpacked their thoughts on how people chose to remember his legacy. They also brought up the Grammys and how they felt about the Kobe tributes. From talking about who was the best R&B group, Eminem, and Craig David, the conversation came back to giving their own thoughts on the tradegy.

The topic of the day was platonic relationships. Are they possible? Is it just a setup for heartbreak and failure? How do they work? They explored their own platonic friendships and when some of those relationship faltered. When the topic of marriage came up, Just Jae and Ryann shared their different opinions. In today’s episode, Just Jae and Ryann began by talking about their recent trips out of town. Ryann solidified her Stan Status by swooning over The Weeknd’s new project. The discussion shifted a few places as always with it ending on Jeff Bezos (of all people). Just Jae and Ryann debuted a new segment called Rules of Engagement where they discuss their set of rules on how to maneuver through certain aspects/situations in life. The first installment was about dick appointments. They broke down some of the differences between dick appointments and booty calls as well as their opinion on how to (if possible) maintain a successful….session...lol. Just Jae and Ryann also talked about the careers of a few people who were canceled in the past. The exploration of the #MeToo movement where #CancelCulture is concerned was also brought in the discussion. The show wrapped up with some personal stories from Ryann.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Tell Me Another Lie Podcast! We start off the show with Ryann talking about a hip hop documentary called The Evolution of Hip-Hip on Netflix. The conversation spun into a bigger conversation about what a new hip-hop reinassance would look like if we didn't lose some of the lengends in the game. Wie continued on by talking about more current entertainment/sports news throughout (Beyonce's Emmy snub, Charlie's Angels remake w/ Ariana Grande and others, etc) while Ryann highlighted another documentary she watched earlier this week.

We opened the discussion on our topic by talking about Just Jae's friend Tenaya's ( IG: @Tenayaology and @GrossPeach ) experience with Imposter Syndrome. We also discussed our personal stories on how it affected us and others as a whole. We then highlighted some key issues that run adjacent with the suffering of Imposter Syndrome. Annnnd we’re back like we never left! Welcome back to another episode of Tell Me Another Lie! In this episode, we discussed what we’ve been up to for the last few weeks. Just Jae and his fiance welcomed their second daughter Braelyn into the world! Ryann took some much needed time to herself by adding some furniture and her new companion, Patty the Plant to her apartment all while binge watching Mad Men. Even though we were light on the entertainment news, we did highlight a few key stories that made the rounds on social media.

We then jumped right into the topic of FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) , how it affects us, and how social media plays a part in it. That topic turned into a deeper conversation about what else….music. From the musical golden era of our generation to how we consumed music in general, we unpacked the dichotomy between music fans of today and the past.
