The next time you find yourself disagreeing with someone, instead of arguing your case, I encourage you instead to gently and sincerely say, "Tell me more about that..."

You don't have to agree. You don't have to pretend. Just listen. Seek to understand. It will change the way you see humanity. It will change your relationships.
