I made a little oopsie and somehow this week I had no episode planned! I had no time to get a whole new episode out so of course, I was in a panic. In an attempt to find some usable content, I started listening to some of the old recordings that I hadn’t planned on airing. I found a full episode that I had totally forgotten about. THANK GOD! This episode never made it on the show and now I know why. This gem was supposed to be mined from its longer form and presented on its own. I pray it moves you forward as it did me. I needed to hear this reminder this week and I feel like someone else does too. Your trauma does not define you. You get to decide who you are. Love y'all and I'll see you next week!

We're back again for our monthly segment of Niki and Linds Talk Life! We are tackling parenting this time! Specifically, not loving every stage of parenthood and we call bullshit on parents who say they parent all of their children the same way. Also, listen in on stories about climbing kiddos and potty training woes. We had a good time with this one so enjoy and Lindsay will be back next month to tackle another topic with me. Love y'all and I'll see you next week!

Do you have rules or ways of doing things that just no longer serve you? We absolutely did. This episode was inspired by a conversation I had with my husband about our mealtime rules, which turned into a full-blown revamp of our family life. Though we are still hashing a lot out, I wanted to share a bit of our process with you and some conclusions that we came to. Enjoy!

My aunt and spiritual mother, Anne Marie, joined me this week to talk about this pretty heavy topic. Loving yourself after an abusive or toxic relationship is such a huge topic to unpack. While we don't go into detail about the relationships we have been in, we do touch on what the journey back to ourselves looked like. Anne Marie has more scars than wounds on this topic, so I am so grateful for all of her wisdom in this episode. There is so much hope in this episode for anyone who has been or is currently in this situation. Anne Marie brings her wisdom on this topic and a few others we touch on, with the most loving and caring energy. I pray this gentle approach is just what someone needs to hear to have hope for a better tomorrow.

Welcome to February! It’s Self Love Month on the podcast! All month long we are going to be chatting about how to love yo’ self, hunny! It’s the most important thing in the world.
In this week’s episode, I’m talking about showing up for yourself. It is so important to show up for you before you show up for your people. Waking up earlier, having a simple makeup routine, wearing clothes I love, setting boundaries, and saying no are all ways I show up for myself. I can’t be the best version of myself if I don’t spend some time on myself in the mornings before the kids and husband are awake. I am worth that time and so are you beautiful. Show up for yourself so you can show up for the world.
