This week, we are honored to have our sister in sobriety and one our our spiritual mentors, Dar, joining us! All three of us met Dar at different points in our life--at divinely inspired times. Her diligent work in her own life and on her own sobriety has created a "Ripple Effect" that has positively impacted many lives and helped us personally along our journeys. So today, we go DEEP, discussing "The Ripple Effect"--how our actions matter, and can touch the lives of others in ways we can't even imagine!

Phyllis shares with us the power of "congruency" in our thoughts, feelings and actions that lead to powerful and lasting transformation in our lives. She shares decades of experience on overcoming "wagon wheel ruts" or programmed thinking so that we can live happier, healthier lives!

So you might have heard of the "Dry January" movement that has been catching on these past few years. Basically, Dry January is a commitment to giving up alcohol for the month of January following the holidays. Today, we explore the topic of Dry January and how it's a great way to examine your relationship with alcohol! Not everyone who drinks a lot is an alcoholic, but if you've been feeling like you're spending way more time with the bottle than you'd like, then this could be a great way to pause and look at why.

This week we have an inspiring special guest and author--Peggi Cooney! Peggi is the creator of the Facebook group "This Side of Alcohol" which is named after her soon-to-be released book! Its a fantastic, very positive community of sober individuals that come from various modalities and disciplines of sobriety and come together to live a life that's alcohol free and more joyful. They focus on living in the joys of life instead of getting sucked down by what can bury us. Peggi shares her story of rock bottom and what her recovery journey has been like, including all the tools she uses to stay sober. There are so many parallels between her recovery journey and ours! To learn more about Peggi, her book, and her sober journey join her FB group This Side of Alcohol and follow her on Instagram @PeggiCooney

This week Lynn has First Thought Wrong about some "kids" stealing her serenity.
Then we discuss how planning the action, and letting go of results, can help us in life and recovery. Focusing solely on the results can create fear, which holds us back from taking any action at all--impeding us from experiencing the creativity and joy in the journey. Focusing only on the results is a defense mechanism we use to stay in control of a situation. However, this causes us to have expectations--and we know what that means...RESENTMENTS! This week we challenge you to take action, regardless of your feelings. Let go of the results, and see what beauty unfolds!

Complacency - "Feeling of contentment often combined with a lack of awareness of IMPENDING TROUBLE!"
Don't be clueless, this disease can and will kill you! This week we talk about the dangers of complacency. How do we spot it? How can we stay out of it? How do we get out of it if we're already there? It's hard but we have to break up with the excuses that keep us in our complacency and be honest with ourselves!
