On episode 8 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen speak to sketch comedian extraordinaire, come documentary maker Sir Stevo Timothy about his love for the classic adult cartoon series South Park.
Anyone who knows Stevo, or has seen his hugely successful Farmer Michael impersonations won't be in any way surprised why he is so inspired by the risque cult show, which first appeared on our screens in 1997. He spoke to the girls in depth, about how the show was such a big influence on his own work, as well as the precarious situations it has got him in along the way.
As we are well and truly in the middle of awards season, we heard the listeners opinions on their favourite Irish actors including the likes of Brendan Gleeson, Paul Mezcal and Saoirse Ronan “from Carlow”
Finally the pair look at Virgin Media’s newest reality TV show Eating With The Enemy which launched on Wednesday night to a mixed bag of reviews.

On episode 7 of Tellybox, we may have found our biggest TV swat so far, as Jason Byrne popped in to give us a complete education of TV from the 80’s till now! Jason's knowledge is startling, but each nostalgic deep dive provides us all with a new perspective on how good people had it on their brick TV set and clunky DVD player. This week's Tellytalks looks at your all-time favourite TV hosts, garnering a huge response from our listeners, with one cork local coming at the top of Jen and Emma's list’s.
Finally, the girls take a look at ITV’s White House Farm true-crime series from 2020, which was recently released on Netflix giving audiences a second chance to get in on the drama.

On episode 6 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen speak to the magnificent Shane Daniel Byrne about his favourite surprising TV show SAS Who Dares Wins. Shane has been entertaining us all throughout the pandemic, and he believes his experiences as a scout leader growing up, and the gruelling years of knot tying and mountain hiking would make him the ideal candidate for future seasons of the show. Shane accounts himself as a reality TV purist, loves anything that is true to life in how the contestants are portrayed, which is why he believes SAS Who Dares Wins is a modern work of art.
On this week's Tellytalks the girls look at some of the TV shows that you really wish were given a reboot, with listeners suggesting everything from Glenroe to Supermarket Sweep in the mix.
Finally Jen and Emma deep dive into the incredible and tragic Framing Britney Spears documentary which got its UK and Ireland release last Tuesday, a few weeks after it initially hit the screens in the US.

On episode 5 of Tellybox, Mrs Giz A Laugh herself Enya Martin joins Emma and Jen to speak about her love and obsession for Friends. Enya is the absolute definition of a superfan, who not only boats a collection of memorabilia (bedsheets, mugs & the lot) but has also met David Schwimmer in person.
For the day that is in it, the girls have sculpted a romantic theme into this weeks episode, so for this week's Telly Talks question, they hear from the listeners about their favourite ever reality TV couples.
Finally we take a first look at the return of one of the most anticipated TV shows of the year, as first dates Ireland returned to our screens giving the term social distancing a whole new meaning.

On episode 4 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen are joined by one of Ireland’s most loved comedians Des Bishop, who spoke in great detail about why The Wire means so much to him and his family. Des is no stranger to the telly himself, with some huge Irish TV hits like The Des Bishop Work Experience & the unforgettable Joy In The Hood, so his deep dive into Baltimore's criminal underworld was spectacularly thorough.
This week's Telly Talks is a handy one for listeners to hear, as we asked the public what the best thing on TV right now is, so have a pen and paper at the ready so you know exactly what to be lining up for your Telly nights this week.
Finally, Emma and Jen take a trip to Paris to look at the Netflix blockbuster series Lupin, which has recently outpassed the likes of The Queen's Gambit and Bridgerton in global viewing figures. Both Emma and Jen had seriously mixed reviews on the heist series, that feature many questionable characters and gaping plot-holes.

This week on Tellybox, Emma and Jen are joined by their fabulous friend, and drag-queen spectacular Davina Devine, as she speaks about her favourite TV show of all time: Prisoner: Cell Block H. A low budget cam cult-classic, the Australian prison soap opera saw petty thieves thrown in amongst child murderers, glueing Davina to her screen every night giving her the tools and skills that would later serve her well in conquering Dublin’s feisty drag-scene.
Jen and Emma discuss some of TV’s most disappointing endings as Lost, Pop Idol season 1 and Game Of Thrones all get honourable mentions in this week’s Tellytalks.
Finally, Emma and Jen deep-dive into Channel’s 4’s new beautiful and tragic mini-series It’s As Sin, which depicts the stories of three gay friends living through the 80’s Aids epidemic in London, losing those they love around them.

On episode 2 of Tellybox, Emma and Jen were joined by comedian, presenter, dancer and singer Fred Cooke. In a truly hilarious interview, he fills the girls in on how his 1980’s boarding school ritual of watching Baywatch with his fellow classmates, eventually led him to the dangerous and slippery poolside of Kells Community Centre to live out his LA dreams.
Cringeworthy Irish reality TV is the order of the day on this week's Tellytalks’, as Emma and Jen sink their teeth into some of the most jaw-dropping moments from Fade Street, Tallafornia and Ireland’s own answer to Pop Idol - You're A Star.
Finally, we look at ITV’s bewilderingly charming new celeb-singing competition The Masked Singer, as the girls discuss how sometimes an idea just that crazy can often work.

Episode 1 of the podcast was action-packed, as Emma and Jen were joined by the hilarious comedian, writer and podcaster (but not actress) Joanne Mcnally, who was here to discuss her favourite TV programme of all time, The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Trash TV at its absolute best, Joanne dives into what makes the show so scandalous and ultimately hilarious for her and millions of viewers around the world. In the chat, the girls discuss Emma’s upcoming rebrand and boob-job, and how the Kardashian sisters are hiding some big secrets to their own audience.
For the most part during this podcast series, Emma and Jen want to keep things pretty light and keep the jokes flowing, but Netflix had other plans when they decided to release their newest True Crime series 4 days before Tellybox’s first episode.
So in their first new release deep-dive, the girls take a look at Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer, which looks at one of America's most notorious crime sprees based in Los Angeles in 1984.
