The Music Industry has existed for ages. Its sparked relationship between the artist and the record label that can be described as "ebb's and flows". From the perspective of the average person it seems like all its meant to be, you are able to create art that you are paid currency for. Some artists such as Chance the Rapper preach that the music industry isn't a smart decision and encourage independent artistry. 

However, we wanted to know what else is there to joining the music industry? Is there a catch? Who better than someone who is part of the music industry to ask such questions. While scouring the internet (i.e. TikTok, Reddit) looking at top rap discography lists, we were surprised to find out A Tribe Called Quest was not on many of those lists! A Tribe Called Quest has a top five discography in rap and it's not five!!!
