The danger of temptation is really quite difficult to fully realize -- according to an exorcist. While not as "spectacular" as possession, the nature of temptation is that of a worm on a hook. To a fish, the worm may be delicious, but little do they realize the ugly reality behind its presence.
For us, learning to recognize the metaphorical "worm" also allows us to caution ourselves against the terrifying truth of the "fishing rod" that the devil and the demonic cast out systematically throughout our lives, and to instead turn toward the Lord when confronted with these near-occasions.
Listen as we walk through a word of advice from exorcist Fr. Francois Dermine on how to avoid the demonic by steering away from temptation!
