The boy is away, so for the first time in his life Tench is left with the grim prospect of going to a supermarket.

In this episode he returns to his country cottage where the action of the Dab and Tench Christmas Special took place in 2011.

It has been seven years since Jamie Tench and his friend Barrington Dab spent an eventful Christmas Day at Tench’s country cottage.

Now the court order has expired he’s back and determined to make a new life for himself in the countryside.
