Just to clarify: I think watching Challenger tournaments on a SCREEN is boring. Pretty much and live professional match is good, and I am all for better pay and opportunity for lower ranked players, especially because talent is not at all the defining variable in anyone's career's equation. I would love to go out and watch a challenger in Granby, or Quebec, for example!

Also, Another thing that will get structure from now on is the naming scheme lol this has been all over the place. 

Anyway, Weekly recaps include for this week mostly the WTA. Kenin and Svitolina should be dangerous next week. Indian Wells draws not out, so I only talk about the fact that I want a Djokovic Nadal final. And, to cap this episode, still ranting about the WTA and ATP's digital presence. I am a consumer, and it is my right to be annoying (but I recognize the difficulty level of applying changes)

It's incredibly hard to cover 2 weeks in 30 minutes. There's obviously way too much info, but I tried to focus on what mattered, firstly in an overall tennis view, then on Canadians (which I really want to see doing well), and my own interests. So, Big 3 giving no signs of relenting, Roger Federer skipping clay court season and Indian Wells and Miami because of a knee surgery, shout outs to Canadians doing well (get better soon, Bianca!) and a personal shout out to Thiago Wild, a Brazilian who just won his first ATP title!

Quick episode as there's not much going on around the tennis world. Clijsters is back from retirement (again), Pospisil drinks more maple syrup, Auger-Aliassime makes the final of Rotterdam but loses to an in-form Monfils. And seriously, why the heck can't the ATP and WTA and any other tennis organization upload good quality video? Not in content, just image quality sucks so much. Just why. It's 2020, for crying out loud.

I talk a little bit about the Australian Open Champions, new gen, Big Three, Serena Williams, and the year to come. Not too much because at this point you all already know everything that happened lol. And I'm switching times to MONDAYS so that I will be a bit fresher in terms of the events I am talking about! My thoughts on how the Australian Open app has been terrible until I decided to talk about it. And a lot of talking about the ATP next gen: are they going to be able to finally challenge the Big 3? Is a new generation of female players rising to dominate the game and become all-time greats? I don't have a clue, I can watch about 40% of all matches I want to watch. But I can hope, and the end of the first Grand Slam of the year may hold some answers once champions arise.

What I think about the ATP Cup and some thoughts on the Australian Open this year, and why I think this decade is shaping up to be very interesting in both Women's and Men's tennis because of the new players coming in. Still would love for Djokovic to keep his title though :)
