Gill Gross from Monday Match Analysis joins Vansh and Andre for a discussion on the Alexander Zverev's accusation of domestic violence by ex girlfriend Olya Sharypova. We talked about his cavalier attitude and statements regarding the allegations, the awkward silence from the tennis biggest organizations (mainly the ATP) and our own views on the subject.
We also spent some time talking a bit about the actual tennis played during the Paris Masters 1000, last tournament of the year before the ATP Finals. Zverev is, quite surprisingly, playing awfully well and was downed by surprising titlist Danill Medvedev, who has not enjoyed a great year compared to his stellar 2019.
What do you think about all this? Should Zverev be able to play tournaments? Should the ATP conduct an independent investigation?
