L'uragano Ida da tregua, i gradi match invece no. Djokovic, Zverev e Shapovalov vanno in scioltezza. Al femminile lotta la Swiatek, e alla fine vince con Ferro. Barty ancora non al Top. Gli Italiani avanzano tutti al terzo turno: Grandi prestazione di Sinner e Berrettini, che però hanno trovato qualche difficoltà. Chi davvero stupisce è Seppi, che estromette dal torneo anche Hurkacz.

Hurricane Ida gives a respite, but the degrees match no. Djokovic, Zverev and Shapovalov go smoothly. Swiatek fights in women, and in the end she wins with Ferro. Barty still not at the top. The Italians all advance to the third round: Great performances by Sinner and Berrettini, who however found some difficulties. The one who really amazes is Seppi, who also expels Hurkacz from the tournament.

Scendono in campo gli Italiani a NY. Berrettini, Musetti e Sinner bene, Seppi supera se stesso.  Delusione per Fognini, Sonego e Mager. Anche i big giocano, Djokovic e Andreescu non al massimo, ma basta questo per vincere. Zverev convince più di tutti. Non mancano però le sorprese: escono di scena Khachanov e Carreno-Busta, eliminati da Harris e Cressy.

Ivashka also dominates the final, beats Ymer. In Chicago Svitolina returns to win, and is now ready for the Us Open. Everything is ready for the NY Major. Rublev, Tsitsipas and Medvedev leave immediately. Giorgi, Halep and Osaka open the dance for women.

Atti finali a Winston Salem e a Chicago, con le rispettive finali: Ymer vs Ivashka e Svitolina vs Cornet. Manca davvero poco allo US Open, con gli Italiani pronti a vincere, o al meno a fare bene. Berrettini, Sinner e Sonego sono nell'occhio del ciclone, ma non dimentichiamoci di Musetti. Al femminile Giorgi e Paolini riusciranno a portare avanti i colori Italiani? Zverev ribadisce di non essere colpevole degli atti di violenza domestica. Tsitsipas e la polemica del coaching e del toilet break.

Very little is missing from the US Open, with the Italians ready to win, or at least to do well. Berrettini, Sinner and Sonego are in the eye of the storm, but let's not forget Musetti. Will Giorgi and Paolini be able to carry on the Italian colors in women? Zverev reiterates that he is not guilty of the acts of domestic violence. Tsitsipas and the controversy of coaching and the toilet break.
