This week we're at JAM glass gallery in beautiful Sylva, NC to learn how to create a honeycomb pendant from scratch! Glass art is something that has been important to me since I was 15 years old and there was always glass art in my house growing up too! Learning how to actually create something out of the raw material has given me a new appreciation for those artists out there who create incredibly complex functional and non functional pieces! After we finished with the lesson, we discussed some of the international art scene, future live glass blowing events for JAM glass, and also talked about Asheville Glass Supply!
