Today's hike ended up turning into me talking about the lore of Sheba's existence. She's such a good girl and I realized I had never really talked about her in detail! It was fun to go down memory lane and think about some memories with her that I normally don't even think about! It was incredibly hot today (103ºF) so we didn't record as long as we normally do!

This week I decided to experiment with another biking episode while on the way home from another group ride! This one was special though, we rode out to a community center out in the west end of Louisville to help clean out some stuff that was taking up space that can be better utilized once cleared out! Giving back to the community in a positive way is a beautiful thing! I also had an opportunity to experience the new Billy Strings record at the new guestroom records location! Overall it was a very solid day!

This week Sheba and I hiked the Jim King trail! She's been loving the relatively cooler weather recently and has been acting extra hyped to be outside! She's also been trying to eat groundscores and I have to be extra attentive so she doesn't eat anything that could be bad for her. I also reflect on the past weekend's 40 mile bike ride with the group that I've been riding with the past few weeks! It's great to have a like minded community for biking, I've spent most of my life on the bike by myself! It's a good change of pace!

This past week was a pretty good week all things considered! I went for a cool bike tour of "dark history" around the city on Saturday! The day before I got to play mini golf with some good friends of mine too and we spent the whole time reminiscing on some shenanigans from many years ago. Lots of alphabet soup was being eaten at the time. I also share some of my thoughts on the recent cannabis legislative changes in Texas. It's truly insane, but on the other hand, pack prices are likely going to increase down there! I hope you're having a good day whenever and wherever you happen to listen to this!

This week I decided to get a camera mount and attempt a cycling episode! The audio on this one was fun to navigate during editing but I think I made it work! This ride is the cooldown from a 7 mile sprint race that was held by this group ride that I found on Instagram. It's cool to have a community of people who are into biking the same way that I am and I'm glad that it was a welcoming environment! Riding solo is fun, but riding with a big group is fun in a different way! I hope y'all are having a good day whenever and wherever you happen to listen to this!

This week has been a pretty good week all in all! Got to hang out with Justin and Billy Wayne at the comedy show on Saturday and that was an entirely enjoyable experience! It was the finals for the comedy competition at Planet Of The Tapes and every comedian there killed it! This past week has been an interesting one in the legislative landscape regarding cannabis and the laws that surround it in America. There was a bill introduced last week called the Cannabis Administration and Opportunity Act. This bill creates a framework for how a nation wide legal cannabis market could look and provides a fair tax structure for small business vs. large businesses. 

There also seems to be a continuance of the shift in the consciousness outside of the cannabis culture in terms of acceptance of the plant and its uses. Anyone within the culture already is aware of the many uses, but when people outside of the culture are beginning to take notice and think about what reality could look like with cannabis truly integrated into the day to day world, it  means people outside the bubble are beginning to see things differently. 

This is in reference to the HR Expert Jean Seawright publicly stating that companies should begin to reexamine their cannabis use policies in regards to medical patients; with a doctors note stating that patients are able to function and preform their work duties while having cannabis in their system, there should be no reason to prevent or terminate someone's employment.

This week is a shorter episode due to it being absolutely boiling outside; Sheba was still demanding a walk though! I decided to take her to Brown Park so she could harras the local geese population. I also talked about something I was thinking about during my last therapy session. The reason most people decide consume various compounds boils down to the triangle of circles. The bottom left circle is the concept of "Running From" and the bottom right circle is "Looking For". The top center circle is purely "Fun".

This week I'm appreciating the break in the weather both physically and mentally. I got to hang out with my homie after he wasn't doing so well last week and make some amends in that regard. I also talk about the relationship between cycling and consuming cannabis that I had built up over the last decade and how it's been cycling while sober; it's definitely different but not terrible like I initially thought it would be. It's also going to be the first sober 7/10 since 2014 which I never thought I'd see but it is good to stick to the commitment that I made last November. This week I decided to walk to a park to capture the real time effects on my consciousness from my therapeutic ketamine prescription. I talk a bit about my experience with how my mom's death impacted my views on life, death, and the connection between the consciousness and the meat suit. I also briefly touched on my perspective on therapy in general and how it seems to work for me. There's also some real-time trauma dumping at the end of this episode because it has been a rough week over here for me, but alas I shall persist with peace and positivity!
