This week I'm exploring a new compound that I haven't discussed on the podcast yet! Muscimol is an interesting compound with a unique pharmacological profile, it feels like a stimulating version of ambien with a slight variation on the visual auditory aspects. This compound is derived from the Amanita Muscaria mushroom and is worth exploring if you're into all of the potential experiences that our universe has created for our consciousness.
I've always been fascinated by what nature can produce and this experience reinforced that notion. As always please exercise caution and stick to doses of 10-50mg; if you must send it further please don't exceed 80mg of the isolated muscimol and have someone hanging out with you who is familiar with the compound.

In this episode I'm back in the Trichocereus tent to show the progress on the TBM + the seedlings! There was a bit of sunburn and dehydration that occured when I got the flu a couple of weeks ago, and we're still in the process of healing that this week. I also go on the first hike of 2026 and discuss some of the philosophical ideas that have been floating around in my consciousness. Particularly the Jungian concept of the Dark Night Of The Soul. I first learned of this concept reading PIHKAL by Alexander Shulgin. If you haven't read this, erowid has a copy online of part 2 of the book. The full audio book is on Amazon and Apple Books if I remember correctly. I hope you all have a good day whenever and wherever you happen to watch this.

This week we're back in the tent to sew some new seeds and introduce some more new life into the tent! It's a rather sad week otherwise and I don't have much else to say unfortunately. I greatly appreciate the continued support of the Terp Team through these trying times!

This week we revived the tent with some new lifeforms! Specifically a Trichocereus Bridgesii Monstrose that has three segments currently! These cacti have been utilized for thousands of years by human beings to connect and commune with the universe and are an essential tool in any explorers toolkit! I go over some of the alkaloids and triterpinoids found in this species as well as some other trichocereus varieties other than the TBM. Terpenes are found in all kinds of plants so it's important to cover all of the ones used for exploration of the mind, body, and soul!
I am currently recovering from a cold so this episode is shorter, stay tuned for next week's Chrimmus special where I will be sowing seeds several other Trichocereus varieties and documenting their growth over the next few months!
Thank you all for the continued support! I'm excited for this new chapter in the tent!

This week we're enjoying the last bit of reasonable weather for this year before getting the tent restarted! This time instead of growing cannabis plants we're going to be exploring the world of ornamental cacti! In particular several cultivars of Trichocereus cacti! I also talk a bit about my observations on the current state of the world and discuss my progress with getting back to baseline from 15 years of consistent cannabis use for the management of my mental health symptoms! Recently it has been tough dealing with, but I will survive and I have a lot of mental IOUs to pay back before I can return!
Thank you all for sticking with this part of the journey of Terpene Therapy, the cannabis content will be back before you know it!
Also this episode will be coming out on my mom's birthday, she would be 76 this year. Rest In Peace to her, my dad, Tom, Larry, Hunter, Frankie, and Ian.

This week we're at JAM glass gallery in beautiful Sylva, NC to learn how to create a honeycomb pendant from scratch! Glass art is something that has been important to me since I was 15 years old and there was always glass art in my house growing up too! Learning how to actually create something out of the raw material has given me a new appreciation for those artists out there who create incredibly complex functional and non functional pieces! After we finished with the lesson, we discussed some of the international art scene, future live glass blowing events for JAM glass, and also talked about Asheville Glass Supply! This week we're back at Skyland Cannabis Co. to bring you a very important conversation about the changing landscape of the hemp industry in the U.S. We are in unfortunate times; Senator Turtle Neck introduced new legislation that effectively kills the entire hemp industry. This change in legislation will affect 100k+ individuals and families across the U.S. by essentially stripping their careers from under their feet. Just like any industry there are bad actors and we see this all the time on both the METRC and traditional markets.
That being said; the businesses that do a good job in the hemp space are ones that are essential for bringing access to clean, quality cannabis to many people who would otherwise have questionable access. While you can never stop cannabis from existing, the choices that people have in places where it is technically illegal are not conducive to the health of the consumer. With places like Skyland Cannabis Co. however, they set the standard for quality control in their community, and with this new bill, their company is in jeopardy.
If you haven't supported their company yet, now is the perfect time to!

This week we're hiking to the tree of wisdom to discuss the benefits of the Terpenoid compounds found in Lions Mane mushrooms / Shoutout to Golden Door! / and how they can help repair the cellular death caused by PTSD. Terpenes/Terpenoids are found in so many living things and they seem to fit into our bodies like keys that either unlock or activate certain systems for the management of our health! I also go on a rant about the rapidly changing landscape of our society again lmao; every week I get hit with some new wild information about how fucked society is. The earth is fine and shall live past our fuckery; however it makes me sad that we can't all live in peace and harmony. It would be so easy with just a shift of the general consciousness.
At the very end of this episode I feature a new song I've created titled Aquila. It features a Ram Dass sample; if you're from his estate please don't sue me. This track is special to me and captures a beautiful night in my life. Skip to 48:10 to check it out!
Thank you all for the continued support as I return back to a cannabis free baseline. I hope to reintegrate it into my existence once I develop more resiliance toward the internal and external horrors that I exist with daily. With a stronger soul will come more enjoyment from one of my life's greatest passions: the cannabis plant. Beyond the culture of it all, this plant is so special to me. My dad taught me the skill of growing it when I was 18 and that changed my life forever. And before my mom died, I was able to connect with her on a human level through the plant. It dissolves the boundaries of the illusion of parent/child and showed me the reality of human/human.

This week we're still kicking on the no cannabis train, and I am grateful that it has been an easy transition! I attribute this to not being addicted to it; rather just dependent on the benefits for my quality of life! Addiction and dependency are two different things that can sometimes occur at the same time. However, for me, addiction is an imbalance within the soul, mind, and body rather than the actual drug itself! It's been difficult mentally since the withdrawals have cessated and I can see why PTSD is a qualifying conditions for medical cannabis! One day I will return to it with a new baseline; however I now realize the value of intermittent breaks! It will always be a tool for improving the quality of life for me, and just like any tool you can either build a house or cut your hand off with it! However, I built a pretty unstable house and so I am tearing it down to the foundation and learning new skillsets and tools to utilize in combination with cannabis when I return to it! Thank you all for the continued support as I continue to explore this new path in my life. Also big thank you to both Uncle Albert and Huachuma for shedding light on how unstable the house I had built was! The future is beautiful and will be even terpier when I return! And the headstash will be THICCCCCCCC because I am deep freezing everything!
I also go on a rant about the Alcohol Nicotine Caffeine control system. Vote with your dollars against these industries that only exist to enslave our bodies, minds, and souls! Health + sanity is freedom and these drugs only deteriorate that within people.

!!! IMPORTANT DESCRIPTION PLEASE READ IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME AS A HUMAN BEING !!!
This week is a different week than I've had in 15 years and that's because I, with my newly acquired therapist, have decided that it's time for me to fully reset my existence back to a true baseline. I have been dealing with various mental health issues for my entire life and cannabis is an excellent tool for quality of life management. That is, until recently. A couple of weeks ago, I had a profound experience that changed my perspectives on the total scale of my life including the utilization of cannabis in processing the death of my parents. There comes a point of diminishing returns when it comes to its use as a tool for positivity; and I have currently surpassed that point.
So! This week is week one of my personal reset! I'll be cataloging the withdrawal process Feel free to check out this journey week by week! I'm not sure how long it will take for me to fully reset my body, mind, and soul but it is what I must do for myself and for Terpene Therapy! But also, take a 650º slurper dab for me!
With all of that being said! I'm working on a whole new strategy for capturing conversations and look forward to the new perspectives that I will gain from being in the "raw dog" mindset.
Thank you in advance for your acceptance of this new chapter of the podcast! Alternatively, if you find that you no longer like it, I completely understand because this is an instant and massive gear shift. If you've been watching since the beginning, you already know that you never know what you'll get each week! That's how I've always operated and I will continue to do so!
