This week we have a really cool power couple Flynn and Alice of Wooksauce Winery and Girls in Green. Flynn tells us about his come up in Washington and how he got into the hash scene. Growing single source and producing such a quality product, Flynn got his tech dialed in! He later moved to California to continue his career and along the way he met Alice, who actually came from Brazil before they met! Her love for the hash ended her up in Humboldt where where she studied abroad as well. She kicked off her cannabis journey here on the trim scene and then right into hash making. When Alice crossed paths with Flynn, well let’s just say it was a Hashy love story. Since they met, they’ve won multiple awards around the world for their full melt and cold cure rosin. Alice is teaching classes around the world on hash making and consumption safety, truly spreading awareness across the global cannabis scene through her platform Girls in Green! Episode 104: Laksmi

What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there?! I hope everyone had a great harvest and you’re finishing the season strong! I’ve been seeing some promising terps about to drop soon! This year we have a Lady Boss from L.A. in the house! My homie Laksmi came through to tell her story and boy does she have a story! Growing up between Mexico and East LA, Laksmi had a very interesting up bringing. The cards started to stack when she had her daughter in High School. That’s no easy road for a young woman. She later started her cannabis career working in dispensaries during the prop 215 days. Things were going smooth and she was really enjoying helping medical cannabis patients get the medicine they needed to better their quality of life. Things really got serious one day when her ex boyfriend robbed her and stole her car and left her with a massive debt that she had to pay off. Knowing nothing about the trap life, which was the only shot she had to pay off this debt, she dove in headfirst. She grinded for 2 years straight, made the proper connections, found the right buyers, and literally paid off the debt all by herself. To this day, she still has all those relationships and was able to use that momentum to keep her business flowing to this day! Everywhere I’ve ever asked, her name is super good in the streets, and she carries herself like the lady boss that she is! Talk about turning a negative into a positive! Episode 102: CJ Humbolt 

What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there?! This week we have a real funny guest, I mean a real one slapper! I still cannot stop laughing at this episode. The homie CJ Humboldt came in real hot and gave us the breakdown of what it as like to come up in Humboldt during is peak. CJ even moved to the East Coast by way of Connecticut and wrecked havoc out there for a few years and got some Eastcoast game while he was there. When CJ got back to California, it was on! He worked many seasons on the hill, dealt with all the wild stuff that comes with that lifestyle. Until one year somebody got their arm blown off by a shotgun and the cops came and shut that grow down and they lost their crop for that season. CJ later stormed the he media scene with his best friend Jay, also a Humboldt native, and they formed the infamous Black Market Vikings! They were an instant YouTube sensation cranking out millions of views by making skits about funny stuff we deal with in the cannabis industry and other pop culture subjects. The Black Market Vikings later launched their brand in the California Rec market with two stolen strains lol, the Blue Lobster and the Yamagucci Coochie! The boys are still cranking out hilarious video skits and navigating through the trenches of the CA rec market. Do Not Skip any of this episode because you will definitely miss a good laugh or two! What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there?! We did it! We made it to 100 episodes!! Thank you guys for rockin with us!!! We got the homie Berner to slide through and tell his story. Born in San Francisco, Berner was no stranger to the hustle. He has been working non stop since he was 13 years old. From selling tree, to later becoming a bud tender, rapper, investor, to one of the biggest entrepreneurs we have in our space, he has laid the blueprint for cannabis brands to follow. Berner has taken Cookies to a worldwide level from their dispensaries along with Cookies clothing. His music is still all independently owned and he has bangers with all the beats artist in the game. Lately , Berner dove into the movie scene and they’re cooking up, what should be an SF classic, a movie called “Splash City.” It was really dope sitting down with Berner and learning about the journey and how he was able to accomplish so much in a relatively short period of time. Released in 2020 with help from the Last Prisoner Project, he co-founded DeLisioso with his son Rick and Kenneth Darby. In a remarkable turn, Richard now partners with Trulieve in Florida, the same state where he was once prosecuted, and benefits from the medical cannabis industry he once suffered for. His story fuels DeLisioso's mission for reform and restitution. Not only were we lucky enough to interview Richard Sr., but his son Rick Delisi came along as well to tell his story with his father. Rick DeLisi, co-founder of DeLisioso, is a cannabis industry expert and advocate. Raised in Amsterdam, he gained extensive knowledge and a valuable network. A seasoned extractor since 2015, he's mastered hydrocarbon, water hash, and live rosin techniques. Episode 0098: Huckleberry Hill 

What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there?! It’s almost harvest season folks and episode 100 is right around the corner!! Big things are happening with the Good PizzZa fam! This week I had the honor and the privilege of interviewing John Casali of Huckleberry Hill Farms. John comes from a proud family of cannabis growers and grew up around the plant in Southern Humboldt his whole life. John followed that path as many people did in his region and carried on tradition. One day his farm got raided during a time where you could still getting a lot of trouble for growing cannabis and was sentenced to 10-Life in federal prison. John stood tall and kept his mouth shut like a man and took his charges. After coming home just short of 10 years later, his community was waiting for him, to welcome him with open arms! Since then, John is fully licensed, and he and his partner Rose landscaped one of the most beautiful cannabis farms one could ever visit. We actually had the privilege of shooting the podcast at his farm so enjoy the beautiful background if you happen to watch this on YouTube! It was great to get to know John and learn about his story and all of his contributions to the cannabis community! What’s Good Famiglia?! How we doin out there? This week we got a kick ass episode by an absolute Ass Kicker! The homie from Up the Hill Exclusive coming in hot, fresh off a 2nd round knock out last night! He caught that W in honor of his late father, who taught him the way of the warrior at a very young age. Up the Hill grew up in the gym training wrestling, BJJ, and MMA since he was a pup and he’s still fighting and training like a savage to this day!
