The Terrible Gamers decide to take on a new challenge...The VS. Challenge! On our first challenge we fight over which is better, the Sega Genesis or the Super Nintendo. Who won? You decide...
Kevin and Kyle discuss the history of (sort of) sex in video games. Dating all of the way back to the Atari 2600. However, not before we discuss some listener emails. How do you handle your joystick? Do you cup it, do you hold it on both sides, do you rest it on your knee, or do you put it on a hard flat surface? Yeah we went there. Our guest is once again Carol, because she couldn't get enough of the Halloween episode, she was wanting more. Lots of sexual innuendos in this episode. It's going to get a little sexy.
Ā
Listener Discretion is highly advised for this episode! Some content we talk about in this episode is very controversial. Any comment made is not to offend anyone. There are games we talk about in this episode that involve sexual violence.

Kevin and Kyle play with themselves....not really, (MAYBE the next episode...) but by themselves. The duo talks handhelds, more specifically, the Game Boy. What games really sparked their memories? Check this one out, as their second video podcast on youtube.com/@terriblegamerspod, you can follow along with their video. The audio podcast is cut down a lot to cut out dead space. They do mention other peripherals, but the main focus is the Nintendo Game Boy.

Our hosts Kevin and, well not Kyle but, 'Listener S' go back to a system that Kevin had when he was younger, the Commodore 64. Kevin and Not Kyle talk about the Commodore 64 Mini, a licensed product released to emulate games from the legendary Commodore 64 system. The system in all of its glory absolutely completely...underwhelms them. It doesn't dust up the love that they had when they were younger with the same system. Although the system was well made and looks great, the game selection was average. We miss Kyle, we drink beer, and we miss Kyle.Ā

Kevin and Kyle have some special guests, their second "official" live studio audience. Carol comes back for her 'nth' episode recording, we introduce Cousin Melissa, and we have Listener S (our most active emailer) on for the first time!Ā
The talks revolve around holiday games. Although we couldn't find a ton, we had fun playing the ones we did find, including a forgotten gem, Elf Bowling! We had so much fun recording this episode, and we hope you all enjoy the dialogue!

Kevin and Kyle have their "first live studio audience" and it goes pretty well actually. They discuss violent video games with their spouses Carol and Christen. What makes a game violent? We talk about our thoughts on what makes a game violent, and some of our thoughts may surprise you. With any other questions or suggestions, reach out to us on Facebook, Instagram, or email [email protected].

Drink, PLAY, drink. Someone tell the hosts that their slogan is drink, play, drink, because all they did was drink, talk, drink, talk. However, still a great episode as Kevin and Kyle talk about Black Friday and how that impacts video game sales and releases. We talk retro, we talk modern, but most importantly we talk games. We do a lot of speculating, but it's what you are already thinking about the statistics we put out there. We had some technical difficulties at the end, but it all worked out. Enjoy this episode, and no we did not play one game the whole time!

Kevin and Kyle dabble in Kyle's first system, the Super Nintendo. We finally answer the rest of the email, but not before revisiting the MFK of Pac-Man, Q-Bert, and the stupid Pong Paddle controllers. After we rank the games we played, oh and the Genesis games from last episode, because we had an Atari hangover. If you find a Q-Bert, go, well, you know...

Still waiting on the okay from Tenacious D, we did get a response, and they were excited, but told us to reach out to one other person. We think we are good! Tenacious D - "Video Games" intro song.

Kevin and Kyle talk about games that scare them, games that freak them out, and games that are based off of scary movies or shows. Kyle has never played Five Nights at Freddy's, sooo we decided to put him in the VR and let him play. Also, our special guest Carol showed up (again) and joined us in the fun. We talk retro games and modern games. It's only about an hour, so we don't have a chance to hit them all, but there is always next Halloween! Also, we have a Facebook account facebook.com/terriblegamerspod, so give us a follow. Continue to reach out to us at [email protected].Ā
