This week we thought we would mix it up a little and play a fun game  called “desert island horror”. Four films we would take to a desert island and why?

In episode 88 Dan and Jennifer free the beast and check out Joe Dante's  THE HOWLING (1981).  

IMAGINE YOUR WORST FEAR A REALITY. 

After a bizarre and near fatal encounter with a serial killer, a  newswoman is sent to a rehabilitation center whose inhabitants may not  be what they seem.

They mostly come out at night...but sometimes during the day. In episode 87 Dan and Jennifer shed some light on their favourite day time horror films.

In episode 86 Dan and Jennifer learn why you don't flush things down the  toilet, as they check out ALLIGATOR (1980).  

IT LIVES 50 FEET BENEATH THE CITY. IT’S 36 FEET LONG. IT WEIGHS 2,000  POUNDS…AND IT’S ABOUT TO BREAK OUT!  

A baby alligator is flushed down a toilet and survives by eating  discarded lab animals that have been injected with growth hormones. The  now gigantic animal escapes the city sewers and goes on a rampage,  pursued by a cop and a big-game hunter.

In episode 85 Dan and Jennifer gather around a pottery wheel, crank up  the Righteous Brothers and talk about their favourite Ghost movies.

In episode 84 Dan and Jennifer have their minds blown watching David Cronenberg's sci-fi body horror SCANNERS (1981).

In episode 83 of SPLATTER CHATTER Dan and Jennifer Celebrate 35 years of  horror by taking a look back on some of their favourite releases from  1987.

Clowns have an absolutely fascinating history that dates back to Ancient  Egypt. But the history of clowns as we know them today is not all Happy  Meals and Kids birthday parties, it’s quite deeply depressing.
