God brings charges against Israel for being unfaithful to the covenant He had established with the nation. The sons of Israel have been living rebellious and sinful lives. They act as though they have no knowledge of God's Law. The spiritual leaders, the priests, are held accountable for the failures of the people.

The story of Hosea and his estranged wife, Gomer, shows that God still loves Israel, although the people have turn toward other gods to worship. Hosea had to buy his wife back at a cost of silver and grain. This should be a reminder to us that we too have been purchased by God with the precious blood of His Son.

The story of Hosea and Gomer, his wife, shows that the consequences of sin are not only suffered by the sinner, but affects many others including their loved ones.

The great deception of the enemy is that sin only affects the sinner and no one else. However, we know that this is not true.

During the years that the nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms (Israel and Judah) God sent 13 prophets with messages to REPENT! REPENT! REPENT!

Hosea was sent at a time when Israel was flourishing; but also at a time when they were unfaithful and rejecting God.

To fully understand The Resurrection of Christ , we first must understand the need for The Resurrection.

We must go back to the Garden of Eden to see what events took place that changed the world. Once we establish that Paradise has been lost, we then can begin to understand how Paradise can be reclaimed.

Man has a problem: sin, but God has a solution: God sending His Son, Jesus the Messiah, to pay the debt of sin for everyone of us.

As we read some of the scriptures leading to The Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and

ultimately the temple it is interesting to note that Jesus was viewing this event, and those leading

up to it, much differently than the apostles or those who would lay down palm branches on the

road before Him.

Jesus knew exactly what would happen in the next five days.
