TETHERS

Every winter in the Pacific Northwest reminds me how much I miss the sun. It’s light and warmth are things I always take for granted during the summer months, but then miss more than I realize until I haven’t seen it for days or even weeks. And, I’d hate to see just how desperate I’d eventually get to feel it again if it ever went away for good.

I might need a little help. I might need to be talked out of doing something that I probably shouldn’t. I have the book of Mal. I have the writings on how to perform the ritual of Transcendence, and… I have the keys. All of them.

Brian Williams. Just another name to add to my list. Another name of someone who disappeared in this small town, and absolutely nobody cares.

Blake Manor.
What once was a strange and if I’m being honest, scary place to me, has become somewhat of an oasis.

I’m not what you would consider old and wise by any stretch of the imagination, but the older I get, the more I realize that sometimes, truth is stranger than fiction.
