TETHERS

Returning to the facility was never going to be easy. Something about the air feels different now—thicker, heavier, like the past is pressing in from all sides. For Luke and Terry, old ghosts linger in every shadow, and the deeper they go, the more the walls seem to remember.

But some things refuse to stay buried.

An experiment long forgotten. A doorway that was never truly closed. And a presence on the other side that might have been waiting all along.

As the pieces start to fall into place, one thing becomes clear—Luke isn’t just uncovering the past. He’s part of it in ways he never could have imagined.

And when the truth finally steps out of the shadows, everything changes.

Episode 12 of Tethers is here.

Some things are impossible to explain. Not because they’re complicated, but because they sound insane when spoken out loud.

Luke Davis has been keeping a secret. The journals he found, filled with information from people who shouldn’t know each other, aren’t just old records.

Something is coming through at the facility. The walls hum, the lights flicker, and reality itself feels stretched too… thin.

A ghost in the system. A name that shouldn’t exist. A pattern hidden in the shadows of government transfers and blacked-out files.
With the help of Mikey, Luke follows the breadcrumbs to a secluded property, deep in the woods, where the past just refuses to stay buried.
But… some doors aren’t meant to be opened, and sometimes when they are… you can’t always close them again.

Osmosis.
We all learned at least a little about osmosis in grade school, but what about the process has me so interested in how it might tie into transdimensional travel? I’m not quite sure yet, but hopefully, I can use the information to just get a little bit closer to… the truth.

Fate seems to be intertwined in everything I do, at least, that’s how it feels sometimes. Is there really some cosmic force out there, some unknowable entity that controls the minutiae of my life, or am I just thinking that I am more important than I really am? It would be nice to know that something, or someone out there much more powerful than I am is watching over me, but… what if they don’t have my best intentions in mind? What if my life is just a game to them, what if everything is out of our control?
