it used to be hard for me to understand the concept of not having male friends in a relationship, but i think i understand as i get older. not every friendship is innocent and not everyone wants to just be friends. i guess you have to read the room and respect whatever your partner is comfortable with.

people repeat quotes and give them to you as advice sometimes, but when you actually break these quotes down, they aren't even good. in listening to the podcast, I realized that i forgot one quote. "can't have your cake and eat it too." while I know what the expression means, it really makes no sense. obviously if I have cake, I'm gonna wanna eat it too!

when everyone has had something, the value decreases. if everyone has had the same access to you, what makes it special for the next person?? it's not very favorable to say that someones value is based on how much experience they have, but the truth hurts sometimes.
