David Krall and Will Watson walk through the text.

• What do we glorify in our lives? When was a time when something other than Christ was celebrated too much in your life? How can we guard against idolizing good things by glorifying them too much?
• What does it look like to willingly and eagerly give up what I want for the preference of others in the Church?
• How is your group living out Communitas? How do we continue to fight for the same mission with so many things trying to pull us apart?

David Krall and Will Watson walk through the text. Questions to consider:

• Have you ever felt confused by what God is telling you? Have you ever found clarity in hindsight? What feelings do you have thinking back on God's work in your life?
• Do you feel the security that Jesus promises in the Holy Spirit? What are some practical ways for you to find peace in the Spirit in your day to day life?

Ryan Hauck and Carl Rettinger walk through the text and challenge us with these questions:

• Why do you think the disciples had such a hard time understanding what Jesus was talking about? Is there a reason it seems so much more clear to us?
• What role does the Holy Spirit play in our daily life? What does it mean that he convicts, guides, and glorifies?

David walks through the text and challenges us with a few implications:

• In what ways does an attitude of hatred toward Christians show up in the world today? Are there places around the world where Christianity is so hated that it's illegal?
• How does the Holy Spirit help encourage and strengthen us when we face persecution as we follow Jesus?

We hope this is edifying and useful for you in your day to day walk with Christ. Tune in next week as we continue our exegesis of the book of John.
