Megan Nadin! An incredibly talented singer and songwriter originally from Thunder Bay, who currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, was in town short notice- we we're glad to finally get the chance to catch up with her in the studio. Megan shared with us about her move to Nashville from Thunder Bay, about the experience and how it's going.

We chatted about her music, her mindset and goal setting and what happens on a typical day when she is producing music. We were exited to hear about her upcoming live performance, which will be happening in Thunder Bay in July.

Kevin and James from ThunderCon joined us in tha studio to talk about the 2nd Annual Superhero's / Cosplay Walk/Run for Mental Health, which is taking place May 1-8th! With a few days left in the event, new participants are welcome to join in at any point - or if you're not able to participate directly, you can pledge towards a team. We talked about mental health and how important it is, along with their experiences. James, as a paramedic, shares about how his work effects his mental health. Kevin also shares how he went through struggles as well.

Of course we talked about Thundercon 2022! Volunteers are welcome and hours spent volunteering at the event counts towards your high school volunteer hours. The lineup for 2022 guests is to be revealed in July! Are we getting excited? Yes we are!

Chad Charles Kirvan! Adventurer, Photographer (Kirvan Photography) and one of the masterminds behind Algoma House joined thamichaelated in studio! A very well-spoken and down to Earth guy, he's got a lot of experience and love for livestream production.

Chad shares about what it's like working at Algoma House - how he sets up the day before, about how interesting it can be due to the unpredictability of live production, but most of all how he loves working there. He shares some stories about working there, along with the collaborations it brings, like with roots to harvest.

As an adventure, Chad has a lot of stories to tell! We talked about his trip he took with Damien to Europe about 6 years ago. We also chatted about how his video of cooking at the marina park grill stations last summer.

Very special guest Aden William Pinto joined us on thamichaelated in episode #241! Aden is an international student who is attending school in Thunder Bay, a video content creator and YouTuber known by the handle Am_awesomee_vlogs (link to his channel and social media below). Aden shared about his journey to Thunder Bay from India and what that was like in the midst of covid.

On his YouTube channel, Aden creates videos that help international students adapt to life in Canada - specifically to those in Thunder Bay. He explores rent, jobs, groceries and travel / attractions. He even scouts out some of the best places to find culture specific foods. Aden's channel not only helps international students, but Thunder Bay's community as a whole! His style is very engaging with brilliant editing and very personal v-log style videos.

Michelle Mucha founded Majesty Makings where she sews really cool things- specifically comfy as f and unique underwear for women. Michelle shares about how she got started with sewing and how she explored a lot of different products before streamlining on her popular two piece matching sets- bralettes and underpants! She creates low cuts, high-waisted and even maternity options. She's might even release some swimwear this summer.

We talked sewing production and how she even started releasing sets with her logo printed on the band. Her work is available for purchase at Loud Woman Collective at Goods & Co. Zoey Sawdo is a talented hip hop artist with an incredibly powerful voice - it was wonderful having her join tha show and share a bit about herself and her journey with music.

Zoey has explored music a lot and is currently really into hip hop. She shares about her recently released music, what she has in the works and what is coming up - including an upcoming show presented by Bay Dream Records "Rolling with The Giants" where she'll perform alongside other talented local artists. Natalia Fernandez from Velvet Rope Floral joined us on thamichaelated! Natalia has been operating her business in Thunder Bay since 2009 and currently has a location in the Goods & Co. Market where you can come in, pick flowers and build your own bouquet! She shares a lot of info about flowers, what they mean to her and how she got into making her popular decorative rose spheres. She enjoys teaming up with locals, mentioning how she works regularly at The Chanterelle, assisting with decor.

Natalia shares about wedding season, how she prepares for it - and how she doesn't get a lot of sleep during that time. Maggie MacGillivray from K9 North Dog Training joined us in episode 236 of thamichaelated! Maggie shares the story of her first dog, how she got into training, breeding and hunting with her dogs. She's very passionate in her training and explains dog training with a different perspective- really taking a dive into dog behaviour and the different types of training methods. She's currently in the process of training her newest edition, Ponyo, who is a black lab.

We also chat a bit about the classes available at K9 North Dog Training and their dog bootcamps, what they involve, and we of course talk a lot about hunting with dogs. Getting them accustom to the sound of guns, retrieving and bringing game back to the hunter.
