Mariel Buckley plays the Times Change(d) High & Lonesome Club tomorrow night and Carson McHone opens for her husband Daniel Romano's Outfit on Sunday at the Park Theatre and I speak to both artists on the show about their live shows and their most recent records.

Jeff Robson has been hosting Tell The Band To Go Home for 20 years and on Monday, October 17th he celebrates the milestone with a special live show at The Park Theatre featuring performances from JP Hoe, Nicky Mehta and Keri Latimer. We spoke earlier this week about the anniversary show and a bit about his experiences over the years.

Today, October 7, 2022 is World College Radio Day. The theme this year is "Peace" so I have some songs to reflect on that, and a whole bunch of great new music as well. No guests and not much talk.

On October 6th at the Park Theatre, Polaris Prize nominee Basia Bulat brings her retrospective/reinterpretation album The Garden to a Winnipeg audience. I got to speak to her about making the record and more. Opening for Bulat that evening is Saskatoon artist Katie Tupper whose EP, Towards the End, is a phenomenal slice of neo-soul. We spoke about how she found that sound and what's next.

Plus, since September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation all other music is by Indigenous artists.
