Dana Sipos, who released Golden Molten earlier this year, comes to Winnipeg on a tour with MIINA at the end of the month playing Sidestage on March 31st and she joins me to discuss her music ahead of that show.

A pair of live sessions / interviews with Winnipeg singer-songwriter Tommy Douglas Keenan who is set to release Returns To The Moon at Sidestage on Thursday March 12th and with Australian singer-songwriter Rob Edwards who is on an extended visit to our province that will see him heading to Gimli and Brandon at the end of March. Plus Winnipeg Folk Festival Artistic Director Chris Frayer discusses the line-up for the 51st WFF which was announced yesterday night.

Not one but two live sessions. First up is Second Floor Patients who play the Osborne Taphouse tomorrow night and ripped through a set before sitting down for an interview, and then it's Ethan J. Wiebe who brought a full band this time but has promised a solo acoustic set in the future!

No NEW interviews this week as the Louis Riel Day-shortened week and events on campus made scheduling tricky, but I'm re-airing my interview with Melody Pearson-Munroe & Jamie Stark who play the Park Theatre this evening as well as my conversation with Griffin Sokal about Canada's Walk of Fame showcase featuring RBC Emerging Artists and Duane Gretzky at Festival du Voyageur.

Tonight's episode features a conversation with Rising Through The Fray director Courtney Montour about Team Indigenous Rising - a borderless roller derby team that will compete at the Worlds. The documentary screens at the Dave Barber Cinematheque at the end of the month. I also speak to Jane Inc.'s Carlyn Bezic about her new album A RUPTURE A CANYON A BIRTH ahead of her opening slot at Winterruption on January 23rd at the Handsome Daughter, and finally I spoke to Hiss Golden Messenger's MC Taylor ahead of his Winterruption show at the West End Cultural Centre on Sunday January 25th.

I start the show off a little differently this week in memory of Renee Gold, who was murdered in Minneapolis this week.
