Michael Ozner, MD, FACC, FAHA, is one of America’s leading advocates for heart disease prevention. Dr. Ozner is a board-certified cardiologist, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and of the American Heart Association, Medical Director of Wellness & Prevention at Baptist Health South Florida and a well-known regional and national speaker in the field of preventive cardiology. He is also the Symposium Director for “Cardiovascular Disease Prevention,” an annual international meeting highlighting advances in preventive cardiology and dedicated to treatment and prevention of heart attack and stroke. Dr. Ozner has frequently appeared in the print, radio and television media including The New York Times, NPR radio and CBS News. He was the recipient of the 2008 American Heart Association Humanitarian Award and has been elected to Top Cardiologists in America by the Consumer Council of America. Dr. Ozner is also the author of The Great American Heart Hoax, Heart Attack Proof, The Complete Mediterranean Diet, and his most recent book, Heart Attacks Are Not Worth Dying For.

"Her Brave Journey" tells the story of a South Asian woman named Kiara who is a survivor of many adversities. Debut author, Swati Singh, takes readers on the ups and downs of Kiara's journey from her childhood to mid-40's. Kiara's journey begins when she immigrates from India to the US as a child in the 1980s. Eventually, she finds her independence and gets married, but finds herself psychologically trapped in an abusive marriage.

Stuck in the vicious and confusing cycle of abuse, Kiara does some soul searching by visiting a wellness retreat in India, where despite feeling detached from God, she feels attached to spirituality. This spiritual awakening helps her understand her inner power and bravery. Now she realizes how she's protected herself her entire life. She's stronger on her own and braver than she thinks. Swati discusses sensitive topics such as domestic violence, divorce, patriarchy, bullying, and mental health.

Swati holds a master's degree in human resource management from the University of Maryland and works in talent acquisition at Navy Federal Credit Union. Her previous blog (mscynicism.com) covered her unconventional opinions on thought-provoking social topics. Her Brave Journey is a fictionalized account of stories Swati has heard from others in tough marriages, for whom she hopes to provide a voice. When she is not working or writing, Swati loves spending time with her family and friends in Washington, DC where she lives. Some of her hobbies include bike riding, walking, traveling, and watching The Real Housewives franchise (ANY city!).

Dawn Airhart Witte has a mission: to inspire others to find their purpose and live it! She is a certified life coach, speaker and the founder of the Desire to Inspire Foundation, a non-profit organization that works to break cycles of extreme poverty. Dawn has also penned several books, including Be… which encourages perseverance, purpose and putting kindness out into the world.

Though she’s involved in many projects, Dawn’s most proud of her role as a mom to two daughters. Nurturing their hearts and spirits drives a deep desire to do the same for children everywhere. And Dawn is doing exactly that through trips around the world with Desire to Inspire providing clean water, education, clothing, food, books and love.

Prior to following her passion to improve the world, Dawn held a number of leadership positions, including PTA President, NCL-LA Founder Chapter President, Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), Big Sister, and Public Works Commissioner. She attended Cornell University and earned certification in Animal Assisted Therapies from Harcum College. Dawn recently received an Honorary Doctorate in Humanitarianism from the Global International Alliance. She is the 2021 Women of Achievement Ms. Elite Southern California titleholder and was recently appointed as Chaplain of the USA Ladies of All Nations International (LOANI) group for California.

In addition to helping others through coaching and her foundation, Dawn is currently working on her “Be…” books and merchandise as well as her “Recipes for Being” series. She is also raising money for her “Paths to Purpose” sustainability projects in Africa.

No matter the challenge, Dawn believes in Pamela Leo’s words, “Children need at least one person in their life who thinks the sun rises and sets on them, who delights in their existence, and loves them unconditionally.”

Michael R. French graduated from Stanford University where he was an English major, focusing on creative writing, and studied under Wallace Stegner. He received a Master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. He later served in the United States Army before marrying Patricia Goodkind, an educator and entrepreneur, and starting a family. 

​In addition to publishing over twenty titles, including award-winning young adult fiction, adult fiction, biographies ad self-help books, he has written or co-written a half-dozen screenplays, including Intersection, which has won awards in over twenty film festivals. He has also had a long business career in real estate, living in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His passions include travel, collecting rare books, and hanging with friends and family. He describes his worst traits as impatience and saying "no" too quickly; his best are curiosity, taking risks, and learning from failure.

French’s work, which includes several best-sellers, has been warmly reviewed in the New York Timesand been honored with a number of literary prizes.

He is known for spirituality, knowledge, and wisdom. His parents were very supportive during his rough stormy years and this is why he is still doing what he loves the most which are producing music and rapping in the highest purest form. He was an active rapper since the age of 18 and as a producer as well.

After years of hard work and dedication, he reached above 2M plays on Soundcloud without any help from the major record labels. Moreover, lots of his supporters on Instagram believe that it is his time to revolutionalize the planet earth in a positive way through the hip-hop culture. Real D appreciated the support and is getting prepared for the impossible on a daily basis.
