  • Episode 19: Zoey Preston
Today I have Zoey Preston on the podcast and I'm so excited to share her knowledge with you all!
Zoey and I met in high school through a singer-actor program. She went off to school in New York City and has been living there ever since. Along with finishing up her Masters in opera, she has also been working for Stratagem Artists. Because of this, I originally wanted her to come on to talk about negotiation tactics for artists but we go into SO much more!
There's a lot of opera repertoire talk in here. You've been warned!
Up Next for Zoey: Singing Dorabella with the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra https://www.queensborosymphony.org/
Zoey manages the socials for Stratagem Artists (@stratagemartists) and American Traditions Vocal Competition (@atvsavannah) so check those out!

    HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
This time of year can be super hard for performers - feeling like we have to justify our career to family and friends. I'm coming to you today with this episode to tell you YOU ARE A WORTHY HUMAN no matter what your career/day job/life looks like right now. Whether you're knee deep in performances or, like me, coming into a "between gigs" time of your life, you are still a performer and be proud to tell your family that!
My skincare req for this episode is the amazing patchology milk peel mask. I mentioned it briefly in Episode 12, but today I go into a little more detail of why I love this product so much. I hope you're able to take something away from this as well. I was so moved by what she said and what was written about her.
