This is the first episode of my brand-new series, a blind insight. I will be sitting down with a number of different people who have different variation of Visual impairment or blindness and allowing them to tell their story from the very beginning. My first guest is the lovely Nina Chesworth who has been visually impaired since an extremely young age but sadly experienced a couple of accidents which led to her being completely blind today. We talk about the things that she seen as therapy, her passion for wanting to create a community amongst fellow visually impaired and blind people as well as her book that she is working on. I hope everyone enjoys the first episode as there will be many like this to come over the coming weeks. I sit down with Stuart Linnell, a man who has worked in the broadcasting industry for 50 years, starting with local BBC radio in Birmingham all the way to BBC Coventry and Warwickshire now. He talks about what radio was like in the 70s and 80s when local radio was very much a new thing to many people in the West Midlands and how it has changed over the decades. We also discuss being a Coventry city fan throughout the 80s including the unforgettable 1987 FA Cup win. Stuart also speaks about the present time of being a Coventry city fan and how the job that Mark Robins is doing is very similar to what Jimmy Hill did. Today the roles are reversed. David has took up the hosting duties and I am in the hot seat. We go into detail about life as a blind person, the positives, negatives, the funny and dark moments. I also answer some of the Lissner questions which get pretty explicit at times but I guarantee you will laugh, enjoy!

Today, I talk to Brighton-based, up-and-coming, partially deaf producer/DJ Isaac Swaby (Sway-B). He tells me about growing up down south, the adversity he faced and how he saw it as a challenge which he accepted. He also talks about how he found out he was partially deaf and what if any, effect that had on his life. We then go on to chat about his night life and what encouraged him to start getting into producing/mixing music which eventually lead to him performing at one of his favourite venues in Brighton. And of course, there is some football chat in there where we talk about Chelsea and his hopes for himself and a club in the future. Enjoy!
