I feel, it takes a lot to feel intimate with someone. It is never just about the sexual aspect, rather it’s all about the connection. The sense of safety in a relationship plays the most important part, I feel. You let your guards down and allow someone to be a part of the world that has only known you, protected you, and been your safe haven. That is intimacy to me. And I do not think it is only limited to romantic relationships, it very well extends to friendships and other platonic relationships, as well.

This poem is all about day dreaming and hoping to achieve all those little big dreams - and one of them is building and creating a little space up in the mountains, who I call home. Hope you enjoy the poem!
