Let’s break the stereotypes regarding mental illness and get the help that is needed.

We need to encourage our young people to speak to our elders and listen to them as they have so much information into our past, their past journeys and can inspire with information as we move towards the future.

I’m speaking to that brown girl in me and all the beautiful brown women that look like me. Not literally look like me but have my beautiful brown skin have that beautiful tone that is a part of who I am and who we are.
