What happens when the Grace Brothers staff go on holiday to the fictional seaside town abroad called “Costa Plonka” during a military coup d’etat? Let’s make a movie out of it (and roll in the cash).

Season 5 finished filming and the of AYBS team then made a feature film that was released on July 31, 1977.

We realize that there’s no audience laughter during the movie- which feels …voyeuristic after 5 years of the show.
